Guardiola admits Madrid were “much better” in the first 25 minutes, says the level tonight is not yet enough to reach the semi finals, and insists his new look team must improve despite winning at one of the toughest stadiums in Europe. He praises the maturity of O’Reilly, the speed and dribbling of Jérémy Doku and the character shown to manage late pressure, while highlighting the need to stay fit and grow from the experience of another intense night at the Bernabeu.
