A SENIOR Tory launched a festive-themed attack on the SNP as she mocked them over their record in power and the ongoing police probe into the party’s finances.
During Business Questions in the House of Commons, Penny Mordaunt gave her own rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas, switching the lyrics to blast her opponents.
She hit back with the scathing attack as she responded to criticism from Nats’ MP Deirdre Brock who accused Ms Mordaunt of having last week given “Scots a lecture on morality” as she defended Rishi Sunak’s immigration plans.
Ms Mordaunt told Parliament: “I think we should have a festive round-up Mr Speaker on SNP morality.
“12 hours of police questioning, 11 grand roaming charges, 10 years without school inspections, nine sham embassies, eight years of poor child mental health, seven years without ferries, six years shirking welfare powers, £500,000 overspent on Edinburgh’s tram, £4 million to install a heat pump, three high profile arrests, two overseas jollies and a dodgy Jaguar EV.”
