[4K] Reading & Northern NRFF: The 40th Anniversary Fast Freight

On Thursday, November 11th, we ventured out to the Reading & Northern with the intention of catching the famed "North Reading Fast Freight" at locations between Reading and Jim Thorpe. We were caught by surprise to spot not just 1, but both of the R&N's 40th Anniversary painted locomotives in the consist! The locomotives pulling this train were SD40-2 3052, SD40-2 1983, SD40-2 3050, and in tow was GP38-2 2023. With our camera and drone in hand, we tried different shots at Cross Keys Road, East Mahanoy Junction, and River Junction outside of Jim Thorpe, amongst the beautiful remaining fall foliage in the area.
