Hey guys, here’s the backstory to the story… We keep our ducklings and chicks in this enclosed area to keep them safe from predators. Our kids and I love watching them. They’re constantly pecking each other and fighting over a bug they found (hmmm… kind of like our kids!) Since the ducklings were hatched at different times, some are bigger and quite the bully (like Barb)… But at the end of the day when I check on them, they’re all huddled together, nuzzling each other in a ball of furriness that’s just too cute. So that’s pretty much the inspiration for this children’s story.
