In this first talk of the 'Rosicrucian Cryptology' series, Peter Dawkins shares some of his insights and discoveries revealing why the 'Cryptomenytices et Cryptographiae' is a Rosicrucian work, and how it relates to the Rosicrucian manifestos, the tomb of Christian Rosicross, the Shakespeare works, and Francis Bacon’s Great Instauration.
Published in 1624, 'Cryptomenytices et Cryptographiae' ('Cryptomenytics and Cryptography') provides keys to the cryptography used in Rosicrucian publications of the 16th and 17th century, and in particular acts as a cryptographic guide to deciphering the secret messages and signatures embedded in the 1623 twin Folios, Francis Bacon’s 'De Dignitate et Augmentis Scientiarum' ('Of the Position and Growth of the Sciences') and the Shakespeare First Folio, 'Mr. William Shakespeares Comedies, Histories, & Tragedies'.
(This talk is Part 1 of the ‘Rosicrucian Cryptology’ series, and Part 6 of ‘The Rosicrucian Mysteries’ series.)
