It’s #throwbackthursday again! Today’s machine is one from our own collection. It’s a vintage 1949 Hoover 612.
This is one of my own personal favourites because of the Bakelite art deco styling on the hood. And who doesn’t love a headlight?
We got this machine originally from Holland. It belonged to the mother of one of our customers. She had bought it new in 1949, and he didn’t want it just thrown away. So it came to us, got refurbished and now is a feature in our reception.
