Tesla and Alphabet set to report their second quarter earnings

“Alphabet is the fourth largest company on the US market, so these earnings are very highly anticipated,” Ms Besarati said.

“What we’re expecting is for them to report a 13 per cent lift in second-quarter revenue."

She added the “expectation” for Tesla is to be “softer than a year ago, with about a one per cent drop in quarterly revenue".
