The core of the melody is generated by Joranalogue Step 8: an eight-gate looping sequencer that never really sits still. You can pause it, reverse it, bend it via the stage input—so it feels like a repeating phrase, yet constantly mutating. Structured motion with built-in instability.

For the first time, I’m diving into the Xaoc Leibniz system here—using it for wavetable manipulation on an oscillator that forms part of the bassline. That digital recombination opens up entirely new timbres: sharp, elastic, and full of character.

The Schlappi 3 Body is driven by a looping sequence, but it’s the micro-modulation that makes it breathe. Tiny nudges from sample & hold circuits and subtle modulation sources continuously tweak phase and FM depth, injecting life into every cycle.

Then the Make Noise Multiwave enters, spreading a chord-like sheen across the spectrum. What really excites me here are the triggers: eight independent envelopes firing through the PoliMaths, sculpting those Multiwave voices. Envelope lengths stretch and snap back—gradually, exponentially—turning static tones into evolving gestures.

At the intro and outro, a strange, droney, deeply manipulable texture emerges from the Vhikk —raw, unstable, and beautifully alive.

Noise plays a major role too. Four independent noise sources from Frap tools Sapel are animated via sample & hold and slowly brought into the mix, whipping up the rhythm and amplifying the sense of momentum. I’ve always loved fabricated, noise-based percussion—it just hits different.

The result is a fast, melodic, eight-minute journey: dense, kinetic, and endlessly engaging. One of those tracks you can sink into for the full duration and still keep discovering new details every time.
