Two men aged 19 and 43 have been charged with murder over the death of Sydney plumber John Versace, who was shot dead in his Condell Park driveway in May in what police believe was a case of mistaken identity. Police allege the younger man acquired and staged getaway cars while the older man acted as getaway driver during the 20-second shooting. Neither man is accused of pulling the trigger, but police say their support roles before, during and after the shooting constitute murder charges.
