A controversy has erupted over allegations that Santrupt Misra, the Biju Janata Dal candidate for the Rajya Sabha, allegedly concealed information in his affidavit. Reacting to the issue, Anil Biswal, spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party, demanded clarification from Misra. He said that if any information has been deliberately hidden in the affidavit, it could lead to serious consequences, including the loss of the position.
