Legendary India cricketers Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev are among fourteen former international captains to have made an appeal to the Government of Pakistan to ensure the welfare of their world-winning skipper Imran Khan, while raising concerns about his deteriorating health in custody.
In a joint statement shared with select media outlets, the group has called for humane and dignified treatment of the former Pakistan cricket captain, who has been in prison since 2023.
