2011-2013 Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram P0302 cylinder 2 misfire DIAGNOSIS

Описание: #Lefthead #lifter #p0302 This is a diagnosis of a 2013 Chrysler town and country with the 3.6 v6 engine exhibiting a p0302 cylinder 2 misfire at idle . I did not feel a misfire but the misfire code would set quickly after clearing codes . Looking at the monitor the misfire counts were counting up quickly under 1500 rpm cold/hot . Pulled out the trusted 4425a Picoscope using the current clamp to test starter current draw to isolate low compression cylinders . Also I use the Picoscope wps500x pressure transducer kit . There are TSB and such so follow service info but always verify cause . There was a warranty extension for this issue for most 2011 to 2013 left cylinder heads on vehicles equipped with the 3.6 pentastar but those are now expiring . Lifter failure is what I found on this one . Always seek a professional as needed .
