This woman was sentenced to death for drug trafficking. The prison guards removed her screw-type leg irons, which weighed only 2 kilograms, and replaced them with riveted leg irons weighing 9 kilograms. As a result, the unfortunate woman had to lift the heavy chain with a rope to prevent injury to her ankles. This condition would persist until a few hours before the execution.
