Who would ever thought within this very matured address, there would still be a plot of land for development. Adjusted to the surrounding, The Mate is a commercial project with flexi suites. That allows the usage of the project to be very flexible ranging from being a residence, an office, a studio, a product gallery and etc. Coming to think about it, this phase looks like that final phase of development to the entire masterplan of Tropics, 3 Damansara Mall and the office tower. They just click really well together.

As it's located right next to the intersection of LDP highway and Sprint Highway, it's both convenient and inconvenient at the same time. These are the main roads to go around PJ and KL, but during peak hours it might be pretty difficult to access the site. But there is a lot of potential as it's surrounded by so many office building and commercial areas.

The deal breaker right now would be the business of 3 Damansara Mall. If it does well, The Mate will be a very desirable project due to the convenience. But if the mall suffers, it will create stigma towards the project. But as I went to the mall several times just to check the crowd and business, they got the essentials right. The grocer and F&B outlets are crowded especially during lunch hours catering to the office workers. But certain corners of the mall it does feel empty.
