Today’s shift started off nice and easy with a dry drive up north… but it didn’t stay that way for long 😤
First off, a van cuts right in front of me, instantly putting me in a bad mood. Then I arrive at a delivery where the company name doesn’t even exist on the map, leaving me driving around trying to work out where I’m supposed to be.
Just as I get tipped, the weather turns brutal 🌧️. I’ve got to open the curtain sider in pouring rain so the forklift can get the pallets off — and to top it off, the final delivery is self-unload, meaning I’m out in the rain doing it myself.
Cold, soaked, miserable… but the job still has to get done 🚛
