Описание: Sam Vonumu, CEO of Uplift a Child visited DRC Congo to meet 200 of our sponsored children there locally. We climbed on the top of a hill where some of our children lives in the huts. After we completed our visit to one specific house, we were coming out to go to the next house and heard a child cry bitterly. Our volunteers said they are not our children. But curious to see who are they and why they are crying? Found out that they are hungry and have nothing to eat. We gave them some biscuits and bread immediately. Then heard the sad story of the 7 children. Both the parents died and buried behind their hut. Oldest being 10 or 11 years and the youngest close to 2 years. They are just living by themselves and neighbors are leaving the leftover food in the front of the house daily. It was a sad story. We do not have sponsors for them, but we requested our local volunteers to give them food and take care of them till we find some sponsor families that can support these children. We welcome anyone that could become a part of these 7 children lives.
