Описание: BBC News captured a rare footage of the feared Lords Resistance Army in Uganda during brief peace efforts between the LRA and the Uganda Defence Force in 2006. It was heartbreaking to glimpse the children who had been abducted from their villages by the rebel force, and really reminded me about the role of the journalist is to "bear witness" . The LRA leadership were subsequently indicted by the International Criminal Court. This film was part of a series which was nominated for Sony's Journalist of the Year in which Karen won Silver
