Verse 9

O Shiva, clothed in the directions, marked by the blazing fire of the forehead,
Destroyer of Time, adorned with the mightiest serpents,
Holder of the sapphire-dark trident,
Playfully manifesting the essence of all scriptures,
Half of Your body the tender Divine Mother,
Revered even by young sages—salutations to You.

Verse 10

O Lord, whose eyes are Sun, Moon, and Fire,
Whose radiance burnt down Manmatha,
Consort of Uma, bearer of the world,
The fierce Narasimha in the form of protector,
Clothed in the hide of demons who filled the oceans—salutations to You.

Verse 11

O Shiva crowned with the streaming Ganga,
Radiant seat of nectar,
Adorned with celestial ornaments and jingling anklets,
Mounted on the noble bull,
Your mighty arms churn the cosmic wheel,
And You uphold the supreme Vedic wisdom.

Verse 12

O Shambhu, grant me auspiciousness today.
O Lord of all, protect me with compassion.
Remove the unbearable suffering of creation,
Your lotus feet worshipped by Brahma.
Bearer of the bow that steadies the mountains—
You alone sustain the Earth.

O Lord who dwells in the mountain-shrine,
O Shambhu, O Master of Devi—protect me always.
