Waimea Bay Beach Park ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
After nearly 3 years on the island, we finally went to Waimea Bay Beach, the main reason being to jump off Da Big Rock. We had seen some friends @taluabest06 and @helenebelene05 posting videos of jumping off it a while ago, and knew we had to add it to our local bucket list.
We give this beach park 5 stars, but before we tell you why, here’s one tip to take into consideration - go early! Parking fills up fast and we had to wait about 15 minutes (circling a lot) to get a spot. As the day went on, the beach just got more and more packed.
Ok, here’s why we give this beach park 5 stars!
☀️ Crystal clear water.
☀️ Great for snorkeling.
☀️ Huge beachfront for hanging out. (The boys said it would be perfect to play football.)
☀️ Lots of shady areas by the rocky mountainside enclosing the beach.
☀️ You could actually rock climb here.
☀️ Tall and short rocks to jump off of.
☀️ Bathrooms & showers.
😆 Beer pong.
Be safe when visiting this beach and note there are no lifeguards here!
