I will be staying at Yamato hostel located in Manila (Pasay) Philippines. It was a very pleasant stay. Very clean and modern yet simple and zen-like. All of the facilities were great. There was only one issue, the internet. It was hit and miss as far as connections go. In my room was not that great, but outside in the common area was not great either =/ Aside from that, it was such a great stay for about $15 USD a night.
Afterwards, I went and tried out Mendokoro Ramen in the Mall of Asia area. It was a very nice experience. I spent about $15 for meal there to include the ramen, gyoza, and a bottle of beer. I think it was worth trying if you're craving some nice ramen while in The Philippines.
