Black Desert Online is one of the most popular MMORPGs currently available. It's a gorgeous game that - even 10 years after its release, retains the title of the best looking MMO - with the best action combat. Which won't always be the case - especially when looking at this enormous list of MMOs coming this year - a list we compiled and posted that you should definitely check out.)
After releasing in December 2014, there has still yet to be an MMO that is capable of competing with it in terms of graphics, combat, world or class diversity. But just because it excels in a variety of areas, doesn't necessarily mean it's the perfect fit for you.
Which is why I'm here today. To discuss - with you - whether BDO is worth playing in 2024. And I'm joined by 5 incredible players - the largest, most knowledgeable content creators in Black Desert Online.
I could tell you the game is or isn't worth playing. I could tell you it is or isn't pay to win. But I've only scratched the surface of the game, having only played a couple hundred hours, and never having played endgame.
So allow me to combine my thoughts - as a casual player, with the thoughts and opinions of players that have spent tens of thousands of hours making it to the top tier content every year.
