I finally got around to checking out the West Clear Creek area, and I'm so glad I did! It might be my favorite off the beaten path place in Arizona! The water was beautiful and cold, but refreshing. The walls are like West Fork in Sedona and Zion mixed. I found a nice stone camp chair and even spotted a crawdad with blue claws. The road in is bumpy, and I would not suggest anything less than an SUV. It doesn't need to be 4wd. Also, the decent into the canyon and backup is legit. 700-ish feet in 0.3 miles, so be ready for it. I can't wait to go back and explore different areas of this canyon! 😁🤙🏻
