The A-Z of Amiga Arcade Conversions: Part 15 [23/10/25]

Описание: The letter S brings you this batch of arcade conversions on my Amiga 600 and for the most part, I really wish it didn't. It starts so well, though, with a cracking version of the side-scrolling shooter Silkworm - in many ways I feel it's better than the original and one of the best ports on the Amiga. After that, things go a tad downhill...

Mind you, we are saved by the sadly-unreleased Ocean port of Snow Bros. And that port of Sega's Space Harrier isn't too bad I suppose. Pretty much everything else is a disappointment. A Sega game with Sonic in the title? Nah, just a naff shooter. Smash TV was a particular let-down although if you can play it with twin-sticks it does improve matters. Overall: let's hope the next instalment is better...
