Use your imagination. I believe that this is eventually going to be a lively & energetic double-time samba feel tune, but when I'm alone, this is often the sort of version that comes out as I work on writing new tunes. I'll likely follow up with other versions as this becomes more fleshed out in the coming weeks & months.
And yes, technically there is indeed an accompaniment: Also bass, which I recorded into an Electro Harmonix multi-track looper in advance, prior to this pass playing the melody that's seen here.
I've come to understand that the name Qhillakan is an amalgam of several languages, whose meaning is essentially "spirit who is reborn from the ashes." You'll find nothing to that effect online, but thankfully, there's still a world of knowledge, wisdom & life that resides beyond the internet... & presumably always will. Enjoy the new tune. F
