Описание: Currently, the students are often late to class and faculty because they decide to wait for the bus without knowing the exact location of the bus and the number of passengers. Most of the time, they do not know the current location of the bus and they could not estimate the time arrival. Other than that, an overloaded bus with the passengers prevent them from taking that bus and they need to wait for another bus. Therefore, they will loss the time and late for class. To overcome this problem, in campus GPS bus tracking with automated passenger counting system is developed. The main function of the system is to track the exact location of a bus and the number of passengers in real time. The system requires an Arduino Mega board, Wi-Fi module, IR sensor, and a GPS module to track the bus location and counting the passenger. The location of the bus and the number of passenger can be monitored via smartphone app.
