The FBI says investigators disrupted an alleged New Year’s Eve attack plot in Mint Hill, North Carolina, and arrested Christian Sturdivant on Dec. 31, according to officials.
In this clip, FBI Charlotte’s special agent in charge says the investigation moved quickly, involved multiple agencies, and that a search of the suspect’s home and phone uncovered a “manifesto” described in the federal complaint as detailing plans for a mass-casualty attack. This case is ongoing and allegations have not been proven in court.
