On the West Coast Main Line roughly half-way between London and Manchester, is Nuneaton. In more recent years the station gained two additional platforms and a number of route alterations but the core layout remains the same as it has been for years. Lying within the Trent Valley Route, Nuneaton serves as an important junction with lines towards Leicester, Birmingham and Coventry.
In this video, filmed in the mid 1990s, typical workings of the time are seen with a number of non-stopping express trains along with a handful of local freight and light engine movements.
