I’m heading back to Istanbul to check out some coffee shops in the Nişantaşı neighborhood. Plus, we’ll try out the new city operated lokanta restaurant (Kent Lokantası) to see what sort of Turkish food it has to offer and if it’s any good. In addition, we’ll enjoy a nice ferry boat ride on the Bosphorus, walk around the upscale neighborhood of Nişantaşı, and pop into an antique Turkish rug store. Finally, we’ll end the evening with some kumpir (loaded baked potato) at the lookout point of Çamlica Tepesi while we watch the nightime Istanbul skyline below.
