Once, a devout priest was transporting a sacred idol in a bullock cart, intending to place it at a designated location. As dusk settled and darkness spread, he decided to rest overnight in a nearby village.

At dawn, the villagers noticed the idol and were drawn to its divine presence. A peaceful spiritual energy flowed through the village. Feeling blessed, they humbly requested the priest to install the idol in their village.

After thoughtful prayers, the priest agreed — sensing that the idol had chosen its rightful home. The villagers then built this beautiful temple with devotion. Since then, it has stood as a center of faith, devotion, and divine blessings for generations.

All rituals in this temple follow the Vaikhanasa Agama, one of the oldest and most revered systems of temple worship in Vaishnavism. Rooted in the teachings of Sage Vaikhanasa, this tradition emphasizes purity, devotion, and precise ritual procedures to invoke the divine presence in the deity.
