Harry Mason and his daughter Cheryl are driving to their favorite vacation spot. Late that night, a figure suddenly appears through the darkness. Harry turns the wheel in a panic and wrecks the car, knocking him unconscious. He wakes up from the wreckage, but his daughter is missing. There's nothing else to do but explore the town you woke up in, Silent Hill.
