Use of TOO … TO and SO … THAT
1. TOO … TO
It shows that something is excessive, so an action cannot happen.
Structure:
Too + adjective/adverb + to + verb
Examples:
He is too weak to walk.
The box is too heavy to lift.
She is too tired to study.
2. SO … THAT
It shows cause and result.
Structure:
So + adjective/adverb + that + result
Examples:
He was so weak that he could not walk.
The box was so heavy that I could not lift it.
She was so tired that she could not study.
