Описание: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem as part of his official visit to Israel, underlining India’s deepening strategic partnership with the country. The talks focused on expanding cooperation in key areas such as security, technology, economy, skills development, connectivity and people-to-people exchanges.

Jaishankar conveyed warm greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said he was confident that India–Israel relations would continue to strengthen across government, business and societal levels. During his visit, the minister also held meetings with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar and Economy Minister Nir Barkat.

Strongly condemning the terror attack on Jewish celebrations at Australia’s Bondi Beach, Jaishankar reiterated that both India and Israel follow a policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism. He thanked Israel for its consistent support to India’s fight against terror.

The External Affairs Minister also reaffirmed India’s backing of the Gaza peace plan and expressed hope for a durable and lasting solution. The visit highlights India’s proactive diplomatic role in the region amid evolving global and regional challenges.
