On 2025/09/28, the phase 2 sections of 2 Shenzhen Metro lines were officially opened at 11:18 on that day. One is the Shenzhen Metro Line 16, and the other is the 3-station extension from Guangming to Guangmingcheng on the Line 6 Branch. Guangmingcheng high-speed rail has finally established a metro connection after 14 years of operation. However, the true major upgrade for Guangming is actually the Phase 2 extension of Line 13, which will connect the station to Nanshan District and Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint.

在2025年9年28日，深圳地鐵有兩條路線的二期路段於當天11:18正式啟用，其一是深圳地鐵16號線，其二是6號線支線光明至光明城3個站。高鐵光明城站開通14年後終於有地鐵接駁，但未來開通的13號線二期才是最主要的升級，將光明區與南山區和深圳灣口岸連接。
