In this episode, we look at one of the most impressive teamwork-based marathon records ever set.
At the 2025 London Marathon, a team of ten runners, led by Graham Sturge, took on the challenge of running a full 26.2 miles connected together in a single costume. Dressed as a giant test tube rack, the team had to move in perfect sync for over five hours.
Managing pace, fatigue, corners, water stations, and crowds — all while physically linked — they crossed the finish line in 5 hours, 41 minutes, and 47 seconds, setting a new Guinness World Record for the fastest marathon in a ten-person costume.
