Описание: In a life-or-death situation where I had to rank my all-time favorite cuisines, Korean food would absolutely be in the top two. Now, back when I first started cooking in my late teens, I found myself constantly drawn to bold, punchy Korean flavors, spicy, savory, a little sweet, and always comforting. I leaned hard into Korean recipes when I was still figuring things out in the kitchen. But to be honest, it’s been a while since I’ve cooked anything Korean at home, and that’s mostly because my Korean girlfriend Hanna, who is an incredible cook, has been holding it down in that department. We’ve been together for nearly six years now, and I’ve been more than happy to sit back and eat her food. But today, I wanted to flip the script and surprise her with a classic: Jeyuk Bokkeum, or Korean spicy pork. Not gonna lie… I was a little nervous. But when she took a bite and gave me the ultimate cosign, “this tastes just like the restaurants,” I knew I nailed it.
