Jan and Michael were just two like souls who had a romantic time in the most romantic place on Earth: Sandals, Jamaica.
Soon after they returned to Scranton, they made it official and signed a love document. But when Jan collapsed in on herself like a dying star, they separated.
To everyone's surprise, Jan recovered and began to feel good about herself for the first time in a long time; she had made some life enhancements, and they experienced an emotionally magnificent reconciliation.
But, sadly, it was not meant to be and one fateful dinner party brought it all crashing down.
In the end, Jan got pregnant by a sperm donor and Michael lived happily ever after with his true soulmate, Holly.
