Without time in the classroom of silence you will either go insane or at least begin to doubt your sanity in today’s culture. We need time to reflect on what matters most if we are going to honor and celebrate it in our lives.

Establish a daily check in. A time of Christmas reflection to ask yourself: am I honoring my Christmas priorities? Am I focusing on what is essential? Or am I being carried away by the spirit of the world’s superficiality.

And remember… Find your joy. Guard your joy. Follow your joy. Not just happiness. It seems our culture has confused happiness with comfort, and following comfort will lead you to misery. Find your joy. Cherish your joy. Guard your joy. And follow your joy.
