The Lost Valley - Lake District Solo Mountain Wild Camp

Описание: I headed up to Wasdale after work and set off for a stunning mountain camp in the Hilleberg Soulo just off the corridor route. An amazing experience in this very remote and dramatic location amongst some beautiful waterfalls.

Please be aware this is not the place for those who are inexperienced in the mountains, or at wild camping. A great amount of planning and preparation went into this trip. Access to locations like this can be difficult and the consequences of an accident could be severe. The weather can change very quickly and this would not be the place to get into difficulty, especially on your own as I usually am. Any form of rescue would be pretty challenging for all involved. Build up you knowladge and experience gradually, take time to plan your trips before you set off, including gathering information about your route, the kind of terrain you are likely to be confronted with, and most importantly, the weather. It's also wise to have at least one back up plan, incase things don't go as you had expected. Time spend in prepartion before you even set off will make your trip much more enjoyable. Prepare for the worst. Hope for the best!
