In the old days, electric bikes were often looked at as the same thing as a moped. But things have changed. Modern pedal-assist or pedelecs have more in common with bicycles than motorcycles.
Here, I attempt to clear up some of those old misconceptions that are dogging the looming mainstreaming of e-bikes.
