Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey is a video game for the Wii, PC and PlayStation 2 that was released in 2007. The format of it is similar to that of the Kingdom Hearts series.

In the game, you play as an amnesiac young girl who discovers an abandoned castle after following a pixie. The pixie tells her she is the only one who can restore the kingdom by saving the Disney Princess worlds from mischievous creatures known as bogs. The bogs are actually just captured butterflies that are forced to cause mischief. There are four worlds in need of saving — Ariel’s world, Jasmine’s world, Cinderella’s world, and Snow White’s world (with a bonus level featuring Belle). Each world has a different theme. Ariel’s theme is sound, Jasmine’s theme is truth, Cinderella’s theme is time, and Snow White’s theme is color. After each world is restored, the symbol representing it (located in front of each portal section) will light up.


In Ariel’s world, sound seems to be missing both on land and under the sea. This storyline takes place at the beginning of “The Little Mermaid”.


In Jasmine’s world, not everything is as it seems. Mirages are appearing all over Agrabah, and causing people to argue. This storyline takes place after “Aladdin”.

In Cinderella’s world, many people and objects seem to be frozen in time. This storyline takes place before the wedding scene in “Cinderella”.

In Snow White’s world, many objects have lost their color. This storyline takes place during “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”.

This world is unlocked only after the other 4 worlds are completed. In this storyline, Belle and Lumiere are suddenly surrounded by bogs, and are very confused. You can make them go away by playing a minigame similar to tag. This bonus level takes place during “Beauty and the Beast”.
Ending

After all the worlds are completed, you see a bog run into the throne room. You follow it, and see a woman in a green dress, whose name is Zara. She claims she used to be a princess, but she didn’t want to follow all the rules. Once she stopped listening to others, she found she had great power. However, she was banned from being a princess. The reason why she did all of this was to stop everyone from becoming a princess, just because she couldn’t be one. After you complete a series of minigames to defeat Zara, she finally falls to the floor in defeat, but you extend your hand in friendship, and she accepts. After that, the kingdom is restored, and all the citizens return, setting off fireworks. The pixie leads you to a picture of all the princesses in their golden dresses, and says it’s time for you to take your place among them. After a moment of confusion, you remember everything. You’re actually the lost princess of Gentlehaven. With that, you join the others in the picture, and earn your golden dress.
