Описание: Summer / Spring Snowboarding / skiing down to Cervinia Valtournench from the top of Bontadini (border of switzerland and Zermatt) via Plan Maison with a view of Aosta Valley and Matterhorn (Monte Cervino).


00:06 Kleine Matterhorn & Breithorn. You can see the end station for Matterhorn Glacier ride which is designed by Pininfarina design studio (works with Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Fiat, GM, Lancia, Maserati as well as Chinese manufactures AviChina, Changfeng,Chery, Brilliance, JAC and VinFast in Vietnam and Korean manufacturers Daewoo and Hyundai). They & LEITNER are also working on a new lift connecting Kleine Matterhorn (Switzerland) and Plateau Rosa (Testa Grigia, Italy) called Alpine Crossing which will open up new possibilities to travel between the countries with gondola all the way (you can bring your luggage).

00:20 Theodulo Pass (italian daily summer ski-pass do not work in Zermatt so it would cost 80€ to get the daypass and get back home). During summer/winter you'd take left att 00:27 to get to switzerland (unless your taking the gondola via Laghi Cime Bianche).

01:50 Restaurant / Ristorante Bontadini at Fornet lift which has a great view of the Grandes Murailles mountain range. This is a good place for Coffee before lunchhours but its fully packed around lunch.

01:54 here are 2 snowboard jumps (6m & 8m), a box and a rail. This has been used for the snowboard instructor course where they need to do som spins (eg. 180/360) and grabs (eg. melon). As well as frontside or backsdie boardslide on the rails. Usually the Cervinia indiansnowpark is open further down next to Chalet Etoile and you'd take Pancheron lift and Rocce Nere1 slope to reach.

04:09 You'll turn right here to reach Chalet Etoile ("Ullas") for some prosecco and lobster. Remember to call for reservations if you'd like the nice restaurant instead of self-service.

05:22 Sky news or some other shitty news network filming. This is Plan Masion where you go from the first gondola to the summer ski area.

05:47 From here on it's quite slushy (~11:40) and the pists are closed.

06:39 LOVE (Prevoiusly Plan Torrette). Best hamburgers in Cervinia and apré-ski during winter season. Call to make reservation for the nice restaurant if youd like primo piatti, secondo piatti etc. with limoncello and genepy. Instead of a fast burger and beer. You'd turn left here (i turn right) to get straight down to the gondola, although the pist only takes you to the parking lot.

10:19 Pizza Monti Mare ("Pizza Corner") where i got a half pizza with Prosciutto Cotto and two Birra Ichnusa for 9€

10:20 Cable car up to Plan Maison (6 person gondola was closed today). Be careful if youre going down for lunch since it dosent go as often during lunch hours.

33€ for skipass (made reservation on cervinia.it the day before since its max 400people per day. you can also buy on the website if you dont have an old cervinia skipass with a number on the back for making reservation)

2.4€ for Cafe doppio at the bar inside Plan Maison liftstation

Recommendations:
have your reservation / booking ready when you arrive at the lift station in the morning. Lifts open 07:45 and the cashier earlier.
use universal ski wax. pists were cold and good until 14:00 and a bit slushy in the end. They close the chairlifts at 14:30.
use sunscreen (spf 20-40)
*get an early lunch if you're eating in the slope and want to avoid queues. Or go all the way down like i did for cheaper and faster lunch.
