September 11, 2021, marked the 20th anniversary of the inception of the Secret Garden.
While many people in the Greater Vancouver, BC, area have visited or at least know of the Secret Garden, few know the history of this community gem on Boundary Bay, in Tsawwassen.
I recently had a chance to sit down with the gardens' creator, Brian Whitehouse, for a candid chat about his inspiration for creating the garden, his motivation for maintaining it, and his vision for its future.
