Описание: When Bert Kaempfert learned that trumpet magician Herb Alpert had recorded some of his compositions (The Maltese Melody, Magic trumpet...) he insisted on returning the favour. So when compiling the material for his album "Strangers in the night" he chose this "Mexican shuffle" as the 'tribute track' to Herb Alpert and his Tijuana Brass. Arranged in the typical Kaempfert style, with the Botho Lucas choir softly humming wordless vocals in the background, the tune became an instant radiohit in 1966. It has been aired countless times since then...... Now "in the air on Youtube" here as a musical present in our december package is Bert Kaempfert with his fabulous version of "The Mexican shuffle" !
