between lives between lines
a talking that tries to cross itself out
tries to make sounds tries not to run
to hang around long enough to not be undone
subtext is context
is subject to change
and it's likely to sometimes
leave you in the rain
somebody once said
talking keeps the medicine down
the talkies keep talking
like talking the same as walking
like walking the same as hanging upside down

is content is subject to change
a speaking and the ocean took its form
from you
it spoke and the falling tree made a sound for you made a home for you
a get-a-way car just for you

and subject to change
will likely change
it is all a hinge
hinging on the sounds
a smile can make
cross talk is the beginning of a talking
and it usually talks itself
out
