I fell into the hype of the Tower 28 LipSoftie Tinted Lip Treatments. The packaging is top tier, and I love the attention to detail with the old-school rounded applicator. The shades are fantastic and pigmented enough for brown skin. The scent is light and dissipates quickly. And yes, this has a nice, non-sticky, cushy feel on the lips.
But the actual product? Meh. The term “lip treatment” implies that this goes beyond a basic lip balm to deeply moisturize and heal chapped lips. This Tower 28 lip balm doesn’t do that. I would describe this more as a cushie lip balm. Longevity was pretty good though.
I rate this a 6 out of 10. These definitely have a place in my collection — just with more realistic expectations.
