The day the world ends, Daryl and Jamie were at the mall. Thursday, movie night. But all hell broke loose, let out his hand and she disappeared into the crowd. After long searching with group's help, they must go on and find a safe place and he has to bury her to move on. Because, what chance is there it still alive? Surely, she died crushed in the mall, when released her hand. Somebody pushed and suddenly she wasn't behind him.

At the end, Daryl is caught for the Governador group when they try to rescue Maggie and Glen. He's in the middle of the arena and when they bring another prisioners to the fight, he sees her for first time in more than a year, she's alive and if it's necessary, he will kill everyone who gets in his way. He will take her hand and this time keep her safe.

Everything was so faster. The dinner, drinks, laughs. A touch, a kiss, another one, sex. "When you meet the person, no matter how faster that you do the things, never is enough. I love you, that's the only thing that matter right now, this room, you and I" she said smiling, and he smiled too. And then, they lost between the sheets again.

El día del fin del mundo, Daryl y Jamie estaban en el centro comercial. Jueves, noche de cine. Pero se desató el caos, soltó su mano y la perdió entre la multitud. Después de mucho tiempo buscándola con ayuda del grupo, deben seguir adelante y buscar un lugar seguro, y él tiene que enterrarla para pasar página. Porque, ¿qué posibilidades hay de que siga viva después de tanto tiempo? Seguramente moriría aplastada en el mismo centro comercial, cuando soltó su mano. Alguien les empujó y de repente ya no estaba detrás de él.

Al final, Daryl es capturado por el grupo del Gobernador cuando tratan de rescatar a Maggie y Glen. Él se encuentra en mitad de la arena y cuando traen a otros prisioneros para la pelea, él la ve por primera vez en más de un año. Ella está viva y si es necesario matará a cualquiera que se ponga en su camino. Cogerá su mano y esta vez la mantendrá a salvo.
