101▶️ Sweet Acid (TT-303 Bass Bot + Microtubes X // Nymphes + Julianna + Pill // Digitone // TR-6S)

Описание: To celebrate this 101th video, let's welcome the Cyclone Analogic TT-303 Bass Bot 🥳 (TB-303 clone).
Even if I've always convinced myself that we have probably heard too much of these "acid sequences" played by the famous Roland TB-303 (and clones)... I've always wanted to have one 😊
So far, I managed to resist (that's why I got the fat and inspiring Erica Synths DB-01 Bassline instead), but it seems that time has taken its toll 😅

Therefore among the 4 instruments used here (Nymphes, TT-303, Digitone, TR-6S), 3 are using their internal sequencer and the Nymphes is being sequenced by the Digitone which can also sequence external gear with its 4 additional MIDI tracks.

The Digitone is also playing some rhythmic FM sequences and lead/pads (layering the Nymphes).

I'm using the TRACK mode on the TT-303, which is chaining three "303-like" patterns. In the middle of the video, I enabled the Microtubes X distortion pedal to get that piecing acid sound! 🧪


Hardware used *

// LEAD, PADS:
Dreadbox Nymphes (6-voice analog synth) + Walrus Audio Julianna (analog chorus/vibrato stereo pedal) + Pill (ducking pedal, triggered by the drums from the TR-6S).

// BASS:
Cyclone Analogic TT-303 (analog mono synth with integrated sequencer) + Darkglass Microtubes X (Multiband distortion) + Eventide H9 (not used for processing the sound here, but only as a tuner to get back to the right pitch after playing with the TT-303's TUNING knob).

// DRUMS:
Roland TR-6S (digital rhythm performer drum machine) with latest v2.0 firmware using the CR-78 (Analog Circuit Behavior engine = no samples 😉).

// PADS, RHYTHMIC SEQUENCES and SEQUENCER:
Elektron Digitone (FM Polyphonic Digital Synth). Also used as a sequencer to play the Nymphes.
