Jurors in the Aurora movie theater shooting case have voted unanimously to take the final step toward deciding if James Holmes should be put to death. The same jury of nine women and three men who found the gunman guilty of the crime, and also found aggravating factors present in the case, have now determined that those aggravating factors were not outweighed by mitigating factors proposed by his defense.
