Comfort Suites (Williamsburg VA), 4K hotel & arcade walkthrough & tour, December 2024

Описание: There's a lot of different choices for hotels in the Williamsburg, Virginia area, since it's such a huge tourist destination. But for me, one of them stands above the rest. The Comfort Suites just off Bypass Road is my go-to pick whenever I'm in town. (NOT a sponsored video, just giving my own experiences!)

The check-in is painless, the employees are friendly, and the rooms and decor are spacious and gorgeous (if perhaps a bit dated, but honestly, I prefer this to the ultra-modern minimal approach that a lot of hotel chains seem to be moving towards these days). Many of the other establishments in town stopped serving free breakfast once COVID hit, but this particular hotel still offers a very decent spread on a daily basis from 6:30 to 9:30 AM, including make-your-own waffles.

The amenities? Well, any hotel that has an on-site game room gets a thumbs-up in my book. Even though the games aren't the newest, they are still always fun to play, with classics like Tekken Tag Tournament, Area 51, Cruis'n Exotica, and the original TMNT all costing just a few quarters apiece. They also have an air hockey table. The one thing to note though is that the game room is right next door to the indoor pool, and so it's kinda hot in there. Speaking of! The pool itself has a lot of room to splash around, and there's a hot tub that absolutely hits the spot after a long day on the road. There's also a fitness room available to get a few reps in.

Overall, most Choice Hotels, you get what you pay for and not much more than that. But this Comfort Suites stands out amongst the others and is a place I'm happy to return to for any future trips to Williamsburg.
