In this evening flight I take the PMDG B738 from Phoenix Sky Harbor to San Diego Lindbergh Field. I follow a Frontier A320neo on the same routing, but it's not an ordinary AI traffic - that flight is actually my previous video's flight ( • MSFS Full Flight FlyByWire Airbus A320-251... ) played back as AI traffic using a program called FlightRecorder
A realistic sunset occurs from 52 min until 59 min, note how the disk of the Sun experiences lots of distortions due to it transitioning various different temperatures in the atmosphere over the Pacific, known as a mirage (another name is Fata Morgana for the specific type of mirage)
